Science has a dirty history, but can we give it a better future? Pack your trail mix, grab your favorite bandana, and join us at Radical Nerd Camp to collectively figure out the answer (and make some friends along the way!)
Radical Nerd Camp: Reconstructing Science for a Liberatory Future is a daylong learning and building intensive that Free Radicals is hosting on 2/29/2020 at the Southern California Library. Join our radical-nerd-camp-counselors for a day of interactive workshops and activities that’ll show a side of science we never learned in school. We’ll ask questions about objectivity, break down science’s relationship with colonialism, and explore alternative scientific frameworks. After lunch, we’ll envision what organizing for a more just science could like, and dive into concrete plans of action – no lifeguards necessary!
REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED!
